How long does it take for my card to get delivered?
All our cards include the cost of free shipping using Canada Post standard lettermail to Canada. According to Canada Post, standard lettermail is estimated to take 2 business days within the origin city (Toronto), 3 business days within Ontario and 4 business days out of province. That said, these are estimated times only and cannot be guaranteed. Actual delivery times depend on origin, destination, weather conditions and other factors. We recommend ordering your card 14 days before an occasion to allow for any potential delays with Canada Post.
How quickly do you print and post orders?
We aim to print and post all cards purchased before 10am EST on the same business day (Monday - Friday, excluding holidays). Any orders placed after 10am will be printed and posted on the next business day. You will get an email confirming when your card has been mailed at Canada Post.
If I order multiple cards in the same transaction, are they shipped together or individually?
Multiple cards ordered in the same transaction will be shipped to one address in one exterior envelope. Blank envelopes will be included free of charge. There is no need to select the 'add blank envelope' option as it will automatically be included in your order.
If you wish for your cards to be shipped individually, you will need to order one card per transaction.
How will I know once my card is delivered?
Although we are unable to track Canada Post standard lettermail, we tend to find 99% of mail orders do arrive to their destination without an issue, as long as the correct mailing address was provided.
I'm struggling to upload my photo. What formats do you accept?
WishBird's website accepts JPEG and PNG formatted images. It will also accept HEIC images on mobile, however cannot accept this file format on desktop. Please convert your HEIC file to a JPEG or PNG if you wish to upload it from a desktop computer. Otherwise, feel free to reach out to us to help you!
I can’t find a card for the occasion I need.
WishBird is striving to provide a great selection of cards to represent multicultural Canada. If there is a key occasion and population we are under representing, please get in contact with us and we will do our best to offer those cards.
Is the card I am purchasing environmentally friendly?
All of WishBird cards are printed on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified cardstock and all cards are 100% recyclable.
Should I create a WishBird account?
The benefit of creating a WishBird account is it allows you to track your purchase order history associated with the email address you provided.
Where can I post my card?
WishBird is able to post your card around the world. Although the cost of shipping is included for Canadian destinations, an additional charge will be added to your purchase for all international destinations.
I’m a business and looking for custom-made cards and bulk discounts. Can I use your services?
We would be happy to service you! Feel free to get in touch with us and we will promptly reply. We are happy to design a card using your company logo and to provide bulk discounts.
What methods of payment do you take?
At the moment, WishBird accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards and Google Pay for all of its purchases. No credit card fees are applied to your purchase.
What if I want to give a card to someone in person?
We have the option for you to purchase an extra blank envelope, ideal for giving a card to someone in person. This comes at a small extra charge. However don't forget that you have the option to add extra personalization to your card by inserting a photograph on the inside of your card before it gets printed.
I’m having some technical troubles with creating my card.
Please note if you are trying to access WishBird.ca from a corporate work computer, some elements of our personalization technology might be blocked. If this is the case, please access WishBird.ca from your personal computer, tablet or mobile phone.

How is my SickKids Foundation donation being used?

I noticed you are donating a portion of proceeds to SickKids Foundation. Are there any other charities to pick from?
At the moment, WishBird is proud to donate proceeds of each sale to SickKids Foundation to support the highest priorities of the hospital. However, we hope in the future to give Canadians a choice between a few more charities.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on greeting cards or gift cards.
