Laura struggled for years to find the perfect greeting card for her family and friends. With many card shops closing during the pandemic, Laura found it time consuming to purchase a card, write her message and make a trip to the post office. While on maternity leave, Laura figured there was a better way. The idea for WishBird was born! Laura is on a mission to help Canadians foster richer relationships by minimizing the effort required to send greeting cards. A WishBird card can be created in under 5 minutes from the comfort of your home, yet make a big impact to the recipient. WishBird delivers the joy of giving and enables Canadians to give thoughtful cards to one another, while also giving to charity. WishBird is proud to donate a portion of its proceeds to SickKids Foundation to help support the highest priorities of the hospital.
